- 독일 대학입학 자격시험(Abitur) 준비와 대학의 신입생 선발 과정에 관한 연구 -
이 연구는 독일 김나지움 학생의 아비투어 시험준비에서 대학입학까지 과정을 살펴 보고, 한국의 대학입학 제도에 줄 수 있는 시사점을 도출해보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 관련 자료들을 수집하여 검토하고 맥락에서 이해하고자 하였다. 이 연구는 다음과 같 은 시사점을 도출하였다. 첫째, 반복적인 대학입시준비(N수)로 인한 사교육비 부담과 신입생 이탈로 인한 대학 학사운영의 어려움을 줄일 수 있는 대학입시제도 개선방안으 로 독일의 대학입학자격 시험제도가 연구의 대상이 될 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 내신성적 에 고등학교 학업 기간에 이수한 교과성적 모두를 반영하지 않고 선택적으로 반영한다 면 학생에게 조금은 여유있는 학교생활의 가능성을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 셋째, 수능 시험에서 평소의 실력을 발휘하지 못한 학생에게 추가적인 기회를 주는 방안을 고려해 볼 수 있다. 넷째, 개인의 특별한 학습성과를 교육과정에 편성하여 인정한다면 학생이 자신의 관심과 흥미를 유지하면서 진로 관련 잠재능력을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.
A Study on the Preparation for Abitur and the Admission Process of new Students at Universities in Germany
This study examined the process from Abitur exam preparation to university admission for German Gymnasium students and aims to derive implications for the university admission system in Korea. The study yields the following implications. Firstly, the German university entrance qualification exam system could serve as a model for improving the university admission system in Korea by reducing the burden of private education expenses due to repetitive college entrance exam preparations and alleviating difficulties in university academic operations caused by freshman attrition. Secondly, if high school transcripts selectively reflect learning achievements obtained during the high school academic period, students may be provided with some flexibility in their school lives. Thirdly, considering measures to provide additional opportunities for students who fail to demonstrate their true abilities in the national college entrance exam may be beneficial. Lastly, recognizing individual learning achievements and incorporating them into the educational curriculum could enhance students’ career-related potential while maintaining their interests and motivations.
