- 한국 유학 경험이 키르기스스탄 귀국 한국어 학습자에게 미친 영향 -
본 연구는 한국에서 유학을 마치고 키르기스스탄으로 돌아간 한국어 학습자들이 유 학 생활에서 어떤 경험을 했는지를 알아보고 그러한 경험이 귀국 후 삶에 어떠한 영향 을 미치는지를 살펴보는 데 있다. 한국에서 최소 1년 이상 유학 생활을 하고 본국으로 귀국한 유학생 4명을 대상으로 심층 면담을 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 주제 분석 (Thematic analysis) 6단계를 적용하여 분석하였고 주제 6개, 하부 주제 13개, 코드 40 개가 도출되었다. 연구 결과, 키르기스스탄 귀국 한국어 학습자에게 한국 유학 경험은 미래에 대한 가능성을 확인하는 기회였고 직접 보고 느꼈던 유학 생활의 경험을 반영 해 한국에 대한 이미지를 수정하거나 확장하였으며 일부는 자기 삶에 적용하였다. 이 들은 한국 유학을 통해 세상을 보는 눈이 생겼고 이는 상생 파트너로서 한국과 키르기 스스탄 정부의 역할을 개진하는 판단 근거가 되었다. 이러한 결과는 향후 글로벌 국가 로 성장하는 데 필요한 한국 정부의 실제적 역할과 방안 설계에 기초 자료가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
The Impact of Study Abroad Experience in Korea on Korean Language Learners Returning to Kyrgyzstan
The purpose of this study is to examine how Korean learners who returned to Kyrgyzstan after studying in Korea understand their experiences in studying abroad and how they affect their lives after returning home. In-depth interviews were conducted with four international students who have studied abroad in Korea for at least one year and returned home. The collected data were analyzed by applying 6 steps of Thematic Analysis, and 6 topics, 13 sub-topics, and 40 codes were derived. As a result of the study, for Korean language learners returning to Kyrgyzstan, the experience of studying abroad in Korea was an opportunity to confirm the possibility of the future, and the image of Korea was modified or expanded by reflecting the experiences of studying abroad in Korea that they saw and felt in person, and some applied it to their lives. They developed an eye for the world through studying abroad in Korea, which served as the basis for judging the role of the Korean and Kyrgyz governments as win-win partners. These results are expected to serve as basic data for the Korean government's practical role and plan design necessary for future growth into a global country.
